Call for Student Volunteers

This unique opportunity is available to undergraduate and graduate students who want to volunteer behind the scenes of a world-class conference.  Student volunteers have the opportunity to see and discuss the latest computing & geospatial networking and technologies, meet leading researchers and industrial scientists from around the world while contributing to the success of this annual event, and meet other students from all over the world.

Qualifications
Volunteers must be undergraduate or graduate students. Students from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. We are looking for enthusiastic, intelligent, and reliable students. No special skills or experience are necessary for most volunteer positions; however, some familiarity with computing platforms, audio/visual equipment, or office equipment can be helpful.

Benefits and Duties
As a student volunteer for COM.Geo conference, you will receive:

Free conference registration
Conference reception ticket(s)
Additional exclusive student-volunteer-only mentoring and professional development events

In return, student volunteers will be asked to work around 15 hours over the course of the conference. Typical student volunteer duties consist of working the registration desk, session support, and anything else that helps the conference runs smoothly.
