Courses
Courses can be proposed by scholars or company
representatives. A Courses Program will share the
very best of computing and geospatial technologies
and techniques with the communities. International
experts present instructional sessions for
beginners, novices, or experts on special topics
such as cloud computing for geospatial R&A, business
intelligence and GIS, Web GIS, mobile GIS,
multi-core architectures for GIS&RS, and more.
All accepted course notes abstracts will be published by ACM in the conference proceedings and distributed in ACM
Digital Library. All accepted course notes will be distributed on
the Full Conference DVD-ROM.
A prospective course organizer
should submit a proposal to Conference Chair,
including:
Title of the course
Organizers, presenters, their affiliations, and
short bios
Abstract of the course
List of topics to be covered
Expected duration of the course; i.e., 1/4 day, 1/2
day
Final camera-ready submissions should be adhere
to the
ACM style guidelines. The
ACM copyright form need to be completed by the authors for the
accepted abstracts and relevant submission materials for publication.

In order for the course notes to be published by ACM
and available at ACM Digital Library,
(I) Camera Ready Course Submission
The camera ready course abstract with syllabus has to be submitted by
30th April 2010. Also note the following
important points:
- Formatting
Please
follow the
abstract-only formatting guide.
- Copyright Form
Accepted authors will be sent the ACM copyright
form and complete instructions from ACM
automated copyright form collection system prior
to four weeks before the conference. You need to
directly submit the signed copyright form to ACM
upon receipt of the email notice from ACM.
- Submission Website
To upload your final manuscript (PDF), please visit
the following site:
http://www.com-geo.org and go into your
author account, choose "In EDITING" (Paper
Review) -> "Director Decision" -> "Upload Author
Version".
If you would like to have your supplemental materials (such as videos, slides, etc.) included in the conference DVD
to distribute at the conference, please submit
them no later than May 15, 2010.
