Tech Talks / Posters
This is a good opportunity for you and your organization to give a 10-minute talk at COM.Geo 2011 conference to demonstrate your work or share your vision and idea in a leading computing for geospatial community.
COM.Geo talk abstracts are read and cited worldwide. They have broad impact on the development of theory, method and practice in Computing for Geospatial fields. All accepted manuscripts appear in the COM.Geo Proceedings on Computing for Geospatial Research and Application, published by ACM, and in the ACM Digital Library for world distribution.
Each Tech Talk is required to submit an abstract. It will be reviewed by the conference committee and authors notified by e-mail. Authors must present accepted talk abstracts at the COM.Geo Conference.
Each Tech Talk will be up to 10 minutes. Conference Tech Talks are, but not limited to:

areas between computing and geospatial
▪ Work in Progress
Preliminary, partial, and innovative insights that are important but not fully developed.
▪
Late-Breaking
Research a & Emerging Technologies
Some of the most impressive
breakthroughs in computing and geospatial happen by
considering the gaps and opportunities in the existing
landscape - by adapting what we know to what might be
▪ Applications or Case Studies
Applications or Case studies for
government, industry, education, and so on.
▪ Development Techniques
