Human Geography is an interdisciplinary approach to describing spatial and temporal patterns of human behavior in the context of their environment. The invited session will include distinguished speakers from academia, government and industry present their views on the current state of practice in human geography and the potential future work in this area. The session will cover efforts to create human geography standards, the use of human geography in conflict zones, the impact of human geography in disaster recovery, and state of the art in human geography analysis.
